About Me

Hello my name is Benjamin Gibson, I am a Photographer and Photography assistant in Dallas, TX.

I got into photography years ago when I was traveling with a restaurant company.  I was working as a corporate new store opening trainer going around the United States opening new stores.  I bought my first digital point and shoot and quickly realized I enjoyed documenting where I was going more than the job I had, I was hooked.  Since then I have changed careers and am throwing myself completely into the field of photography.  I enjoy the unique challenges, the people you can meet, creative possibilities, and an infinite amount of combinations that make photography what it is.

I’ve always wanted to have a creative outlet, whether it was being a film major, writing, and of course the obligatory picking up a guitar and deciding I was going to me a musician.  I failed miserably at all these things but through them came to photography as my means of creative output.  I hope to have a lasting and rewarding career in Photography doing what it is I love to do; which I believe should be everyone’s ultimate goal.
